Mymomshops is giving away a set of 6 Queen of Hearts Letterpress Monogram Cards, just for sending her an email! You have to send the email before 12 noon on Thursday, April 26th to be eligible, so hurry up! The cards are in the picture to the left of here, and you can choose any initial that you want if you win.
From Etsy’s website about letterpress:
“The art of letterpress involves inking raised type and then impressing it directly onto the printing surface. The result is an impression that you can see and feel. The oldest printing technique, letterpress began in Europe during the 14th century and remained the only printing method in use for centuries to come. Originally, type was hand cast and individual characters were set by hand into lines. Today, letterpress designs can be created via a computer and then output to engraved plates. The result is a wonderful mix of the old with the new. In today’s world where mass produced digital copies are commonplace, the tactile quality and nostalgic feel of letterpress are truly unique”

Owlhaven is giving away a copy of the new book On The Move by Bono, just for leaving a comment on her blog. She is also giving away another copy at her other blog, Ethiopia Adoption Blog. She says it is perfectly fine if you want to leave a comment at both blogs to get two chances at winning!
Below is the book description from Amazon.com:
“The one thing, on which we can all agree, is that God is with the vulnerable and poor. God is in the slums and in the cardboard boxes where the poor play house. God is in the debris of wasted opportunity and lives, and God is with us if we are with them. 6,500 Africans are still dying every day of a preventable, treatable disease, for lack of drugs we can buy at any drug store. This is not about charity, this is about Justice and Equality.” –Bono
This small book, based upon the speech given by Bono at the 2006 NPB, delivers an inspiring and powerful message. Here, in Bono’s own words, is a reflection on his own faith and a challenge to people of all faiths to reach across boundaries and come together on behalf of what the Scriptures call “the least of these.”
This looks like a very interesting book that I want to check out. I hope I win it! Here are the links to both of the blogs, so you can sign up once on each blog for two chances!

He is giving away five different personal finance books, just for leaving a valuable comment on his blog, and sending him a quick email. He wants you to comment on any of his blog posts, but it must be at least 50 words, and meaningful. (50 words isn’t much, this first paragraph has 64!)
Here is the list of books that you can choose from:
- A Random Walk Down Wall Street by Burton Malkiel
- Yes, You Can Get A Financial Life! by Ben Stein and Phil DeMuth
- Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki
- America’s Cheapest Family Gets You Right On The Money by Steve and Annette Economides
- The 9 Steps To Financial Freedom by Suze Orman
I chose America’s Cheapest Family Gets You Right on The Money. My family thinks I am a tightwad, so I want to see just how tight I am…

Last week I posted about Blingo, the search engine company that lets you search Google, and win awesome prizes at random. The prizes range anywhere from $10 value up to the thousands of dollars in cash and prizes! All that you have to do is search the internet using Blingo, instead of your usual search engine, and every search is an entry (up to 25 a day)!
Juan Million at Millionster left a comment on my last post about the Blingo search engine not giving the same results as using Google search from Google.com. With this in mind, I wanted to come up with a solution so you could still get in your free giveaway entries at Blingo without wasting anymore time than you would have.
Here is what I do to still get my entries in at Blingo, without wasting any time, or sacrificing my search engine results.
- Add the Blingo search to your web browser’s search bar for convenience. CLICK HERE for the original post with instructions on how to do this.
- Instead of searching with Blingo, I use it as another address bar in my browser. After step 1, I have a Blingo search bar right next to my address bar in Firefox. When I want to go to Google.com, I type it into my Blingo search bar, instead of the address bar. When I need to check my email at Yahoo, I just type Yahoo Mail in the Blingo bar. Whatever website that you search for will always be the first result that you see below the sponsored links as long as you search for it by name. You can also use this technique if you have an exact address to go to. If someone sends you a link to my $25 GiveawayProject.com Free Money Giveaway, and you want to check it out, just copy and paste http://giveawayproject.com/2007/04/04/25-giveawayprojectcom-free-money-giveaway/ into your blingo search bar, and the first thing that shows up is “Click this link to visit the address:” and the link that I pasted in.
Using this technique and one extra click, you can get in all of your Blingo sweepstakes entries. Also, if you get people to sign up to Blingo, and they win something, you also win it! So please sign up using any of the links to Blingo that you find on this website!

Well, it happened again over the weekend. I won yet another giveaway! This proves that your odds are REALLY good that you will win some totally free stuff in a short amount of time if you keep signing up for the giveaways that you find here at GiveawayProject. Check out what my odds were for each of the contests that I won (the author for the book giveaway decided to give EVERYONE who signed up a free book)…
